1st Hartford Scouts recognises that your privacy is important and for the best protection of the children involved in our Scout Group we apply the following rules:

 

• No members personal information is stored on our web site. E.g.. Home addresses, users Email details, telephone numbers etc.

 

• For information relating to forthcoming  venues, dates and times of activities, these are accessed via a secure access method using username and password.

 

• No photographs of the scouts that enable personal identification of individuals will be placed on the web site, without written parental consent.

 

• With respect to the data used to run this web site, this will be retained by the  administrators and not sold transferred or otherwise disclosed to any third party, unless such disclosure is required by law or other court order.

 

3. Secure Access

 

A secure access mechanism is provided for some of the web site pages. This mechanism is intended to deter 3rd party Internet users not associated directly with 1st Hartford Scout Group from being able to access specific information.
