What Is being a Beaver Scout all about ?
A Beaver Scout Colony has members who are aged between 6 and 8 years.

Beaver Scouting is about:

Using a variety of methods, Beaver Scouts are guided to:

What do we do at Beavers?
The focus is on having fun and making friends. The weekly programme is very  varied and ensures that there’s always something to suit everyone. The following are just an example of some of the things we do at Beavers:

Lots and lots of games.
Various craft activities: from making greeting cards to kites.
Gaining badges for various activities and through
Discovery, Friendship and Outdoor Challenges.
Getting to know the area: Around Hartford Quiz.
Learning the Country Code.
Sports Days.
Learning about musical instruments.
Being safe and street wise.
Charity car wash (getting very wet!)
Environmental projects.
Visits to local attractions e.g. Cuckoo Clock Museum
Fun Days joining in with other Beavers across the district.
And Lots More........always having a FUN time.
